Fez – The Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum paid a visit to Morocco’s pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai on November 18. Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the UAE’s vice president, prime minister, defense minister as well as ruling the Emirate of Dubai.

The Moroccan exhibit is themed “legacies for the future – from inspiring origins to sustainable progress.” During the tour, Pavillion Director Jihad Chakib explained the pavilion’s different components, which symbolize the Moroccan nation’s civilizational heritage throughout its millennial history.

The excursion included Khalid Bencheikh, Morocco’s general consul in Dubai. Bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured some of the Moroccan pavilion’s thirteen rooms. 

Inaugurated on October 30, the Moroccan pavilion highlights the kingdom’s experience in the fields of innovation and advanced technologies. The Moroccan site is also an opportunity to exhibit the country’s recent advances in the fields of sustainable development and the environment, as well as science and art.

The Morocco Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai is a venue for showcasing the Kingdom’s long-term strategic vision for a more sustainable future. Between October 10 and 16, a variety of scientific and economic activities were held to emphasize Morocco’s “modern and connected” status. 

These efforts are part of a larger push to boost investment in the kingdom, aiming to benefit future generations’ economic and human growth.

The pavilion at Expo 2020 promotes Morocco’s diverse artistic, cultural, economic, and scientific agenda while underlining the country’s dedication to the planet’s future, the richness of a country with a wealth of capabilities, and the country’s development.

Gathering over 190 countries from around the world, Expo Dubai 2020 is one of the world’s greatest cultural events. The World Expo is regarded as a breeding ground for ideas, fostering the interchange of innovative visions and inspiring pragmatic solutions to real-world problems.
