Police at the Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca arrested on Sunday a French national of Algerian origin who was wanted by interpol.
A statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) said the suspect was involved in a homicide case in France.
French police issued a red notice distributed by the Interpol.
Morocco’s security services made several similar arrests as part of the country’s commitment to continue to help its partner countries arrest suspects wanted by interpol.
One of the recent major collaborations took place in July when Moroccan police and Interpol collaborated to arrest a prolific cybercriminal who was under investigation for fraud.

The suspect was reported to be involved in developing “carding and phishing kits, which were then sold to other individuals through online forums to allow them to facilitate similar malicious campaigns against victims.”
Interpol Executive Director of Police Services Stephen Kavanagh emphasized the importance of the operation, thanling Morocco for its help.
Morocco has been a member of Interpol since 1957, and the organization also has an office in Rabat.
