Fez – Moroccan kickboxing champion Badr Hari is set to take his revenge game against Arkadiusz Wrzosek while Jamal Ben Saddik will face off Dutchman Levi Rigters in the Glory competition expected to take place on March 19 in Hasselt, Belgium, according to the Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf.
The world’s kickboxing league, Glory, announced that the Moroccan-Dutch kickboxer Badr Hari will meet with the Polish heavyweight champion Wrzosek in a kickboxing bout that is expected to host about 16.000 supporters at the Trixxo Arena in Hasselt.
Meanwhile, the Belgian-Moroccan kickboxer Jamal Ben Saddik will fight against Dutch heavyweight kickboxer Levi Rigters at the same arena in a first ever Glory bout between the two fighters.
Hari’s anticipated fight with Wrzosek represents an unprecedented opportunity for the Moroccan fighter to take his revenge on a previous defeat against the Polish champion who knocked him out in their last match in September 2021.
During that fight, Wrzosek neutralized Hari with an unusual head kick that many kickboxing fans and commentators named “the knockout of the year.”

“The Golden boy,” as many kickboxing fans nickname Hari, is looking to return back to his prime when he settled for years at the pinnacle of the kickboxing ring with 106 wins.
Ben Saddik’s last game was against the “kickboxing king” Rico Verhoeven; the match ended with Ben Saddik’s defeat by knockout. Named “the Glory Fight of the Year,” the Rico vs Ben Saddik heavyweight bout was a trilogy, with the Moroccan fighter delivering a remarkable performance against the number one heavyweight champion.
Also known as “the Goliath,” the Belgian-Moroccan fighter has been marking a formidable stage presence at the Glory competition, being ranked third in worldwide heavyweight kickboxing between 2015 and 2021. In his debut in 2011, he beat the current kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven.
Glory is the world’s largest promotion company, with a roster that includes some of kickboxing’s best fighters.
Glory organizes events in seven weight divisions (six men’s divisions and one women’s division) all over the world. By 2021, Glory had hosted around 80 events in seven years of existence. The Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, hosted the first Glory event in 2012.
