Israel confirmed opening fire on the woman’s “lower body,” with the Israeli Defense Forces claiming that the woman suspiciously walked toward the soldiers despite “warning shots.”

The Palestinian woman died due to losing a lot of blood.
Following news confirming the woman’s death, Israel announced the opening of an investigation into the case.
The Palestinian news agency did not reveal the victim’s identity. However, international media identified the victim as a 47-year-old widow and a mother of six children.
In addition to the killing of the Palestinian woman, the Palestine news agency also reported on the opening of fire on Palestinian fishermen by Israeli navy forces while the fishermen were sailing off the north of the Gaza strip.
“Israeli naval forces and their gunboats have long been harassing Gaza fishermen, shooting at them, damaging their boats, and making arrests. Sometimes fishermen were injured or killed during gunfire attacks,” Wafa reported.
