Rabat – International fans of athletics are making their way to Rabat for Sunday’s Diamond League meeting in Morocco’s capital. Fans and athletes alike have expressed their excitement over the upcoming international track and fields tournament, dubbed the Meeting International Mohammed VI d’Athlétisme de Rabat.
The annual track and field meet has been part of the world’s top track and field competition, World Atletics’s Wanda Diamond League. From the US and Canada to Kenya and South-Africa, track and field watchers are looking forward to the Rabat athletics competition.
Sunday’s competition features the traditional elements of modern athletics, including high and long jumps, discus throwing, 200-1500 meter races, as well as hurdles and steeplechase races.

The competition will see the return of four of the world’s top female athletes. British olympian Holly Bradshaw, Greece’s Katerina Stefanidi, as well as US athletes Katie Nageotte and Sandi Morris are set to compete once again after meeting in the UK two weeks ago.
Hosted at the Moulay-Abdellah sports complex in the Moroccan capital, the competition is set to feature world champions, record holders and emerging talent from around the world.
For those athletics fans unable to visit sunny Rabat, the Diamond League is offering live streams starting at 19:00 local time.
