South Africa won tonight’s match against Morocco with a score of 2-1 .
South Africa’s football team opened the match with a goal in the 63 minute of the game through mid-fielder Magaia Hildah.
Less than ten minutes later, the South African mild-filder scored a second goal for her team.
The score prompted a renewed alert among the Lionesses, who soon brought smiles back to their fans.
Morocco’s forward Rosella Ayane scored the first goal at the 81 minute mark.
Despite their defeat in the final, the Moroccan football team produced spectacular performances throughout the tournament — particularly during their matches against Botswana and Nigeria.
After defeating Botswana, Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses secured a spot for the North African country in the 2023 World Cup which will take place in New Zealand and Australia.
