Laayoune – The International Radisson Blu Hotel Group is further expanding into Morocco, opening its fifth branch in Saidia, northeastern Morocco, the group announced in a press release today.
The Radisson Blu Resort “Saidia Garden” has 150 rooms totaling six different hotel categories, each with a private balcony measuring 11 square meters, the hotel group added.
According to the press release, residents in the Saidia Garden can experience Mediterranean cuisine in its purest form, with a wide variety of delicious delicacies at the family-friendly Atlas Buffet Restaurant & Terrace.
Visitors can also have a cocktail or a fast snack at the Oasis Pool Bar in front of vibrant Moroccan-inspired design for a more laid-back eating experience, it added.
This newly opened Saidia branch is part of a portfolio that the hotel group announced in July 2021, saying its goal is to open up to seven branches in Morocco.

The broad portfolio, which included four renovated and three newly constructed resorts and homes scattered over Al Hoceima, Sadia, and Taghazout, was intended to strengthen Radisson’s serviced apartments as well as its international resort offers, the hotel group stated last year.
The Radisson Hotel Group signed this portfolio last year in partnership with Madaef, a leading Moroccan tourism investment company.
Thanks to the country’s efforts in revitalizing tourism, over 3.4 million tourists visited Morocco in the first half of 2022, accounting for 63% of all arrivals in 2019.
Located next to the city of Oujda, at the Algerian-Moroccan border, Saidia is a suitable destination for domestic and foreign tourism thanks to its location. It is a beach city in northeastern Morocco, making it one of the country’s busiest bays and a favorite among both locals and foreign visitors.
