Casablanca – On the sidelines of the forty-seventh anniversary of the Green March, Morocco’s Dakhla, the pearl of the southern provinces, will host the sixth edition of the International Forum for Very Small Enterprises (FITPE) from November 4 to 6.

Organized by Attitudes Conseil, the event’s aim is to foster a more collaborative environment for the benefit of very small businesses and self-entrepreneurs and to establish an exchange between the different financial and non-financial support networks.

This edition of the FITPE is intended to provide a venue for entrepreneurs to discuss and exchange ideas with one another through conferences, B2B meetings, and exhibitions of startups and very small enterprises, said a statement from the event’s organizers.

It will see the participation of several experts that will expose their experiences and practices on various themes, the statement added.

Among the primary aspects to be tackled throughout the Forum’s three days are entrepreneur performance, financial and digital inclusion, and regional growth.

The selection of Dakhla to host the event was not a coincidence, said the organizers, noting that “the region is full of business opportunities that very small enterprises and self-entrepreneurs can seize to develop their activities.”

In addition, the southern Moroccan city has in recent years distinguished itself by holding a number of high-level international conferences.

This year, Dakhla hosted various international forums, such as the Morocco-US Investment Forum, the Morocco-Spain Investment Forum, the Morocco-Caribbean Community (CARICOM) forum, as well as the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace.

As Morocco continues to invest in gigantic infrastructure projects in its southern provinces, Dakhla is gradually turning into an investment hub for companies eager to expand their operations on the African continent while keeping a presence in European markets.
