Rabat – Paris will host the first edition of the “Morocco Investment Meeting and Entrepreneurship Meeting” (MIM) event, from May 23 to 25, 2023 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
MIM President Director Samir el Chammah explains that the choice of Paris results from not only for its geographic position, but also for its top position as a leading city for international exhibitions, and as a European hub for such events.
The General Director of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE) Ali Seddiki said that this event, organized by the “Ostensio” company, will present the Moroccan business ecosystem to European investors, foreigners, and to Moroccans residing abroad (MRE).
“The MIM will allow them to meet the various public, semi-public and private actors involved in investment and entrepreneurship in Morocco”, added Chammah.
The event aims to create fruitful partnerships that would create value and generate employment in Morocco, according to the organization. This event will further serve as an opportunity to present all services, supports, and possibilities for financing that Morocco offers to investors, project leaders, and entrepreneurs.
The three-day meeting will feature exhibitions by Moroccan organizations, including ministries, sectoral federations, training and financing organizations, start-ups creators, and major public and private clients.
The event will host conferences, round tables, testimonials, and informative and knowledge-exchange workshops.
“Morocco, through its political stability and its potential for economic growth, is a destination of choice for investors”, noted Seddiki during the MIM presentation meeting.
To ensure quality, MIM organizers decided to select a scientific council presided by former Moroccan finance minister Mohamed Berrada, and 18 personalities from different backgrounds. The group includes Moroccans and foreigners with expertise in administration, business, and research.
“It is also an opportunity to show the new Morocco, with its perspectives and challenges,” affirmed Berrada.
