Rabat – Belgium’s football star Romelu Lukaku could be ready to play Belgium’s second match with Morocco on November 27 following his injury.
The football team’s coach Roberto Martinez said in a press conference that the medical staff are talking about his return in the third match during the World Cup’s stage group.
“He trained again apart from Monday but it was a good session,” Belgium’s head coach said.
Lukaku suffered an injury to his left thigh on October 31, just three weeks ahead of the World Cup during a match with his Italian club Inter Milan.
The injury caused frustration among the team. Belgium played against Canada on Wednesday, the national team won the match 1-0 against Canada.
Despite Belgium’s victory, Canada was the fans’ favorite to win during yesterday’s match after showing strong physical fitness and demonstrating high-level skills.
Morocco will play Belgium on November 27, and Canada on December 1. The two football teams are part of Group F along with Canada and Croatia.
