Rabat – The National Company of Radio and Television (SNRT) has obtained the rights to broadcast 10 matches, including the national team’s games, during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Moroccan sports channel Arriyadia tweeted the news, emphasizing that the national television broadcaster in the North African country has obtained rights to broadcast 10 different matches of the world cup finals, which will begin on November 20 in Qatar.
“We wish the Atlas Lions good luck in this competition,” Arriyadia concluded.
The World Cup draw put Morocco in Group F along with Belgium, Croatia, and Canada.
The national team will play its first World Cup game against Croatia on November 23, and will face Belgium on November 27.
The Atlas Lions will play against Canada on December 1.
Morocco’s head coach Walid Regragui announced his final squad list of 26 players on Thursday. The squad list notably saw the return of Abderrazak Hamdallah to playing in the ranks of the national team.
The list also features young football player Bilal El Khannouss who recently chose to represent Morocco over Belgium.
The list also includes key players such as Hakim Ziyech, Achraf Hakimi, and Romain Saiss.
