Rabat – Professional footballer Enzo Zidane, son of French football legend Zinedine Zidane, celebrated his wedding in the Moroccan city of Marrakech.
Zidane’s first son held a private wedding to celebrate his marriage with Karen Goncalves last week on Friday in the city of Marrakech.
The couple shared photos from their wedding party and pinned them with captions to express love and joy for each other.
“Forever,” Goncalves wrote in Spanish.
Enzo also shared photos of the wedding in his Instagram story. One of the photos shows Enzo wearing a classy suit while the bride wears a magical white wedding dress as they were posing near their party’s giant white cake.
This is not the first time that Morocco’s Marrakech has hosted an international celebrity’s wedding celebration.
Many celebrities chose Morocco and particularly Marrakech to either tie the knot or to celebrate other events in their life.
Moroccan businessman Yariv El Baz celebrated his daughter’s wedding in Marrakech in October last year.
El-Baz is a major stakeholder in Morocco’s food industry and the son of a famous Moroccan jeweler.
In June 2019, British X Factor star Fleur East married her longtime boyfriend Marcel Badiane Robin in Marrakech.
During the same year, British actor Idris Elba also celebrated his wedding to model Sabrina Dhowre in the red city.
In September, Royal Mansour Marrakech hosted American actor Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones for their shared September 25th birthdays.
In 2018, the city of Marrakech also hosted Madonna’s 60th birthday party, which the pop star described as a “magical birthday week.”
