Rabat – Group D’s winning country, France, is set to face off against Group C’s Poland in the first knockout round of the 2022 World Cup. Both teams will square off on the pitch on December 4. The match will take place at 16:00 Moroccan time at Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
Spectators not attending the match in Qatar’s World Cup stadiums can watch the game on several platforms streaming the game on sports channels.
As part of their World Cup coverage, Qatari international sports network beIN Sports is streaming the game.
The game will also be broadcast by BBC One, via streaming on BBC iPlayer, or on the BBC Sport website.
Viewers can watch the game on Telemundo and FS1.
This will be the second meeting between France and Poland at the World Cup, with their previous match the Polish side came in third place in the 1982 tournament, scoring a 3-2 win against France.
Both teams qualified for the round 16, even though they both lost their last group games.
France became the first side to reach the knockout phase of the tournament on November 26.
Meanwhile, Poland made it into the next round based on fair play rules, when the Polish team managed to receive fewer yellow cards than Mexico allowing them to advance.
So far, 14 teams have qualified for the next round of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar including, Morocco, the Netherlands, and Senegal among others.
