Rabat – Taptap Send, a diaspora-focused fintech company, is celebrating the launch of its operation seeking to help Moroccan diaspora in France benefit from its money transfer services.

In a press release announcing the new operation, the company said that the launch of this “unique operation” comes at a “perfect time” to meet the aspirations of Moroccans living in France.

Other than the Moroccan diaspora, it added, Tunisian nationals living in France will also be able to benefit from the new operation.

The company mobilized both Nouha Maazouzi, growth launcher at Taptap Send, and Jaafar El Alamy, a Data Leader at ADRIVER company, to introduce the operation to the “greatest number of Moroccans and Tunusisians” living in France, detailed the press statement.

The operation seeks to introduce the targeted diaspora members to transfer money services and solutions, particularly in periods like the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al Adha, the forthcoming religious holiday.

Elalamy has been carrying out tours, with a fleet of geolocated vehicles circulating in areas with a strong presence of Moroccan and Tunisian diaspora members to “maximize the impact on the Taptap Send target,” Taptap Send said.

Commenting on the campaign, Elalamy said: “Adriver, the leader in Mobile Out Of Home (MOOH) in Europe, is a master at predicting the movements of brand targets and has consequently selected the best moving media to make the Taptap Send campaign an unprecedented success story.”

He stressed that data is analyzed on an “hourly basis” and is being reported to Taptap Send every week.

Starting in April this year, Taptap partnered with Adriver to increase its visibility in France.

Drivers from Adriver will be displaying the message for several weeks in the Iles-de-France region to introduce Taptap Send services to Moroccans and Tunisians and allow them to “easily and quickly bring support to their families back in their home country.”

As part of the campaign, Maazouzi developed “impactful and contextualized visuals,” containing “exceptional” promo code that would allow the company’s users to benefit from €5 offered from the first sending with the TapTap Send application.

For Taptap Send, the promo code is a “gift in perfect alignment with the state of mind that prevails during the month of fasting and the weeks after right before Aid el Adha.”

Mazouzi identified challenges Taptap send is facing, including the company’s vision to build a “hyper targeted strategy to acquire qualitative customers without losing a lot of money along the way.”

Taptap Send is “very community driven and tries its best to gather community together in each marketing activation,” she argued, stressing: “This was made possible with Adriver solution as many drivers comes from Morocco and Tunisia.”

Mazouzi also emphasized Adriver’s operatives’’ help and their contribution to the fintech company’s visibility, stressing that they became “ambassadors of Taptap Send.”

“Most of them presented the service to their clients during their rides on top of displaying the ad on their vehicles,” she said.

As part of the campaign, vehicle drivers benefit from a “substantial additional income per month that Adriver pays them in exchange for the wrapping of their cars in a very easy way,” the communique stressed.
