Rabat – Morocco’s national U17 football lost on Friday 2-1 in the final stage of the U17 in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

During the game, Morocco’s young defender and team captain, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal scored the first goal in the 14th minute.

However, in the second half of the match, Senegal’s Diouf turned the tide in favor of his team and scored a goal in the 80th minute, followed by striker Savane who scored the second goal for his team in the 83rd minute.

In the early stages of the tournament, Morocco showcased a remarkable performance during the group stage, emerging as the leaders of Group B with back-to-back triumphs against Nigeria (1-0) and South Africa (2-0), and suffering only one defeat against Zambia.

The team’s display in the quarter-finals demonstrated their exceptional skill and unwavering determination, as they dominated their Algerian adversaries throughout the match.

The victory for Morocco was sealed by the outstanding efforts of Zakaria Ouazane, a talented young striker who scored two goals, and Adam Chakir, who also contributed with a goal.
