Rabat – Morocco’s Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports is informing candidates who took the first session of the national baccalaureate exam that complaints about errors in the results obtained will be available from June 20 to 23.

“The period for filing claims is open from 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, until 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 23,” the ministry said in a statement, noting that filing will be done, exclusively, through the online claims management system.

The ministry stressed that claims received via systems other than the one it proposed will not be processed.

As a result, candidates wishing to submit their requests can access the system through their “Massar” accounts via the following link: https://massarservice.men.gov.ma/moutamadris.

Independent candidates can also submit their complaints through their “Candidature bac” accounts via the following link: http://candidaturebac.men.gov.ma/CandidatBac/login.aspx.

Complaints are not necessarily processed favorably as expected by the candidate, the ministry stressed. It noted that if a corrector finds out, during reconsideration of the exam paper, that a particular candidate deserves a mark less in value than the previous one, they will attribute it to them.

This year, a total of 245,109 candidates enrolled in public and private education passed the 2023 national baccalaureate exam, recording a pass rate of 59.74%, on a par with the rates recorded prior to the 2019 academic year.

142,051 of the total number of candidates who were successful in the baccalaureate exams this year are female students.

The overall number of candidates who participated in the exam this year increased by 18% compared to 2022, while the number of candidates who passed their exam increased by 14,000, which is equivalent to 6% compared to last year.
