Rabat – Morocco’s national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) held an event in Madrid yesterday evening to present its new vision and brand positioning as a key player in Africa’s aviation landscape.
RAM presented its strategy to an audience of Spanish partners, tour operators, and tourism professionals. The event focused on the agreement RAM signed with the Moroccan government in July to expand its fleet over the next 15 years.
During the event, RAM signed two partnership agreements with the Foundation for Three Mediterranean Cultures and the Seville City Office. The airline also awarded trophies to its top partners in Spain, including travel agencies and tour operators.
Speaking about its new project, the airline said it aims to “write a new chapter in its history and establish itself as a global airline” with international ambitions set for 2037.
In addition, RAM stressed its keenness on “reaffirming its leadership on the African continent by contributing to the development potential of Africa,” with Morocco as a key player in this vision.
Under this program, Royal Air Maroc aims to transform its corporate model, expand its network, increase its influence, as well as offer a modernized fleet and a renewed operational strategy.
RAM noted that its new brand image draws inspiration from Moroccan and African cultures, which the company takes great pride in.
RAM launched its #DreamAfrica #MeetMorocco campaign on October 23 in a total of 28 countries across five continents.
The campaign is accompanied by an extensive communication strategy that includes using a wide range of channels, including television, digital platforms, billboards, digital screens in public places, public transportation, train stations, shopping malls, and social media, noted the company.
