Rabat – Moroccan kickboxing legend Badr Hari has taken to Instagram to denounce Israel’s violence against Palestine as the invasion of Israel rages on.
In a post on Instagram, Hari wrote: “It is particularly sad and revolting to see all these images of violence involving innocent people.”
Hari extended his “condolences” to all those who lost a loved one during the “bloody week.”
The kickboxer shed light on the ongoing siege in Gaza, saying it is “an unacceptable situation.”

“We cannot decently witness the confinement of two million Palestinians in Gaza without feeling sad and angry by the situation,” he fumed, recalling that the UN estimates that 1.1 million people are expected to leave northern Gaza amid Israel’s expected ground invasion.
Hari described Israel’s invasion of Gaza as an “unconscious decision” that will lead to “unprecedented levels of misery and further push people in Gaza into the abyss from which nothing good will come out.”
The Moroccan athlete further called Israel’s occupation of Palestine an “apartheid” system that had been “denounced by NGOs for several years.”
“The Israeli authorities have put in place laws, policies, and practices which are intended to maintain a cruel system of control over Palestinians, and left them fragmented geographically and politically,” he added.
He drew a comparison between Palestine and Ukraine, questioning why the international community “accepted for Palestinians what was unacceptable for Ukrainian: bombing of civilians, deprivation of basic needs such as water, electricity or food.”
