Rabat – Morocco’s National Social Security Fund (CNSS) has unveiled a dematerialized system for monitoring the lives of its beneficiaries in the year 2023, aligning with its stated commitment to streamlining administrative processes and continually elevating its services.
The fund said in a statement that the new system is predicated on the electronic exchange of vital information with partner government agencies and institutions. The approach is designed to validate the status of pension beneficiaries without necessitating their physical presence for routine administrative tasks.
In its statement, the CNSS outlined the two-pronged approach underpinning their system.
Through information sharing with partner entities, the CNSS will first ascertain the ongoing vitality of pension recipients, the statement indicated. This collaborative effort is set to alleviate the need for beneficiaries to physically visit CNSS offices for routine administrative actions.
For pension recipients whose status remains unverified through the information exchange process, the CNSS has devised a simplified procedure in collaboration with Morocco’s postal services.
Under this protocol, beneficiaries will have the option to verify their existence by personally receiving a correspondence specifically addressed to them by the CNSS.
Crucially, the social security fund has assured beneficiaries that they will be kept informed throughout the life monitoring process.
Those with registered phone numbers, email addresses, or personal accounts on the MaCNSS portal will receive timely updates regarding the status of their life monitoring verification.

Addressing the concerns of pension beneficiaries and Moroccans residing abroad, the CNSS has introduced a specialized procedure, whereby individuals will receive a dedicated publication containing a life certificate form, which they are required to fill out and have authenticated by a relevant authority.
Once completed, the certificate should be returned to the CNSS with the appropriate signature and certification stamp.
To further facilitate communication and address any queries or uncertainties related to this system, the CNSS has established a dedicated helpline.
Beneficiaries and residents alike can seek clarification or assistance by reaching out to the CNSS at the following telephone number: 3333 203 080.
