Rabat – The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) has made its policyholders aware of the risk associated with disclosing personal information to third parties.
In a statement released today, the CNSS denounced the scammers who have been calling various residents pretending to be CNSS employees and asking for their bank information, and warning of a possible form of fraud and exploitation of its policyholders’ personal data.
Any parties involved in this case will be subject to legal action by the CNSS, including criminal prosecution, the statement stressed.
The Fund invites all its beneficiaries to visit its official website, www.CNSS.ma, and its official social media accounts to verify the validity of any information relating to the CNSS and their relationship with it.
In 2023, the CNSS will launch a dematerialized system to follow the lives of its beneficiaries, in line with its declared objective of reducing administrative procedures and constantly improving its services.
The new approach is based on the electronic sharing of critical information with partner governmental institutions and organizations, according to a statement from the fund.
The method is intended to verify pension beneficiaries’ eligibility without requiring their physical presence for standard administrative duties.
