Israel continues to breach the four-day truce deal with Hamas in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, opening fire against civilians in the vicinity of hospitals in the besieged strip on Sunday.
Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Palestinians in the vicinity of the Al Quds and Indonesian hospitals in Gaza on the third day of the truce, which was brokered by Qatar, the US, and Egypt.
A correspondent at Palestinian news agency Wafa said the attack came as a group of citizens tried to inspect their homes.
Palestinian news agency Wafa also reported today that extremist settlers stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque today, with the protection of Israeli occupation forces which have set up military measures at all entrances to the mosque to prevent Palestinians from performing prayers in it.
Israel has been preventing over 1.7 million displaced Palestinians from returning to inspect their homes and properties which were destroyed in Israel’s genocidal campaign launched on October 7.
The humanitarian truce in Gaza came into effect on Friday at 7 a.m. following deadly and bloody Israeli aggression which has killed over 15,000 Palestinians, including over 6,000 children and 4,000 women.
The truce stipulates that both sides (Israel and Hamas) would continue to release prisoners they are holding captive. It also allows for the entry of vital relief supplies and fuel to the besieged Gaza Strip.
