Rabat – Israel has been intensifying its aggression in Gaza targeting residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and press headquarters.

Palestinian news agency Wafa said today that several Palestinian civilians were killed during the Israeli airstrikes that targeted multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.

Quoting its correspondent, Wafa said that Israeli warplanes fired several missiles against several family houses, resulting in the death and injuries of several Palestinians.

The Israeli government also announced that it allowed thousands of Gaza workers who were detained at their workplaces inside the 1948 occupied territories to go back to the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces’ shelling also targeted the 11th floor of the Haji tower,  near “the fishermen’s port in the Al Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City, which houses the office of the AFP and several other media offices, causing damage to the office,” Wafa reported.

Al Jazeera reported the same news, saying that planes bombed the office of AFP and several other news outlets in Gaza.

Israel attacks have killed over 9,100 civilians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank so far amid international inaction to put an end to the Israeli massacres targeting children, women, and men of all ages.

The intensified strikes come amid claims from US Secretary General Antony Blinken, who just landed in Tel Aviv to reportedly “press the Israeli government” on its ongoing offensive in Gaza amid heavy criticism.

On Thursday, Blinken claimed that he planned to talk to the Israeli government about the ongoing aggression and “steps that need to be taken to protect civilians.”

The claim came as the US House of Representatives passed a Republican plan providing $14.5 billion in military aid to Israel.

“The plan, which is funded by cuts to the Internal Revenue Service, passed on Thursday by 226 votes to 196, largely along party lines,” Al Jazeera reported today.

Many UN exports have renewed frustration over the devastating situation in Gaza on Thursday, stressing that they remain “convinced that the Palestinian people are at great risk of genocide.”

“The time for action is now. Israel’s allies also bear responsibility and must act now to prevent its disastrous course of action,” the experts’ appeal said.
