Rabat – Israel’s Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu said on Sunday that using a nuclear bomb against Gaza is an “option” in Israel’s ongoing war on Palestine.
As of Sunday, the death toll from Israel’s month-long aggression in Gaza rose to nearly 10,000 people.
In an interview with Radio Kol Berama, Eliyahu said that dropping a nuclear bomb on Gaza is “one of the possibilities,” according to Israeli media.
The minister, however, is not part of the war cabinet which is responsible for setting Israel’s endgame and strategy in its mercilessly murderous campaign in the besieged Gaza Strip. Eliyahu equally said that he objects to allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza. “We wouldn’t hand the Nazis humanitarian aid.”
He equally voiced his support for Israel’s Gaza invasion, saying that Palestinians “can go to Ireland or deserts, the monsters in Gaza should find a solution by themselves.”
The Israeli minister took a step further saying that the northern Strip “has no right to exist,” adding that anyone waving a Palestinian or Hamas flag “shouldn’t continue living on the face of the earth.”
These racist, genocidal remarks come at a time when Israel is facing backlash from the international community over its war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Since launching its Gaza campaign on October 7, Israeli forces have targeted mostly civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, and ambulances.
On Friday, an Israeli missile targeted the entrance of Al Shifa Hospital, which houses over 5,000 patients. Dozens of people were killed and wounded in the attack.
