Israeli defense magazine Israel Defense has admitted that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have been inhumanly arresting thousands of Palestinians arbitrarily throughout Israel’s ongoing bloody war against Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
The magazine, through Israeli journalist and analyst Amir Rapaport, published a lengthy publication titled “Amir Rapaport’s Weekly Column: The Aerial Fire Dilemma.”
In the article, the magazine admitted that Israel’s use of aerial and artillery firepower to prepare for ground actions by the occupation forces is not subject to restrictions. This means an unrestricted application of heavy weaponry is used against unarmed Palestinians – including children.
Not only this, but the magazine also highlighted how the Israeli occupation forces members rush to arrest anyone who refuses to evacuate areas in Gaza or Palestinian territories.
“Anyone present in those areas is likely to be considered a Hamas operative – even if they are not directly affiliated with Hamas but have chosen not to leave,” the column reads.
Disturbing videos have documented the ongoing raids carried out by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, where people find themselves arrested for speaking against occupation, illegal settlement, or against the oppression they have been subject to for decades.
Over the past weeks, there have also been Graphic content documenting the inhumane conditions that Palestinians face in Israeli prisons. In one video that surfaced recently, a crowd of Palestinian prisoners are seen stripped of their clothes and filmed while they were subject to humiliation.
Despite such reprehensible evidence of the barbaric treatment of Palestinians by Israeli occupation authorities, Israeli officials have continued to spark uproar and frustration across the world for their brazen and inconsiderate description of their bloody and punitive war against the Palestinians as a necessary war of self-defense against “Hamas terrorists.”
One of such horrific remark came from Israeli senior Advisor Mark Regev, who legitimized the stripping of Palestinian prisoners, saying in a televised interview that the weather is “warm” in the Middle East, in an attempt to downplay the heinous and inhumane act by Israeli occupation forces, who arrested and stripped dozens of Palestinian men, including journalist Diaa Al-Kahlout.
“It’s the Middle East and it’s warmer here,” the senior advisor to Benjamin Netanyahu said, claiming that the experience of being stripped naked “might not be pleasant, but it’s not the end of the world.”

The Israeli occupation forces have intensified their bloody attacks and aggressions in one of the most unprecedented and devastating wars in the Gaza Strip.
Since October 7, Israeli occupation forces have murdered at least 18,700 in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. Several reports highlighted that Israel’s intensified use of artillery has left no “safe” zone in Gaza.
In fact, Israel also targeted places that are supposed to be safe, including shelters, residential areas, as well as worshiping sites– including mosques and churches.
The sole justification Israeli occupation forces use to legitimize their crimes and receive Western support – particularly from the US– are their claims that such attacks are aimed to demilitarize areas or arresting Hamas members.
At some point, the media also reported about Israel’s intention to use seawater at Gaza tunnels to find Hamas members.
Furthermore, the Israel Defense magazine also shed light on the unchanged guidelines that air force personnel in IOF receive during conducting aerial attacks. This means that Israeli occupation forces have never ordered any changes to its guidelines since the start of the war, contradicting claims that the occupation power places “higher priority” on the lives of Palestinians than the lives of its fighters.
“Attacks are considered daily, based on a long list of considerations and lessons learned, with the primary goal remaining the achievement of war objectives and minimizing harm to our forces – above all and before everything else,” Amir Rapaport, an Israeli analyst and journalist was told, according to the magazine.
The report is not surprising as many other investigations and news reports have exposed or debunked Israeli claims and narratives throughout the occupation forces’ disastrous war against Palestinians.
One of the most recent was an assessment by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. According to the assessment, more than nearly half of the air-to-ground munitions that Israel launched in Gaza since October 7 have been unguided.
“Unguided munitions are typically less precise and can pose a greater threat to civilians, especially in such a densely populated area like Gaza,” CNN reported.
