Rabat – The President of the Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca (WAC) Said Naciri and the president of the Oriental Regional Council Abdennabi Biioui have found themselves embroiled in a scandalous legal case.

Both Naciri and Biioui are currently detained and facing serious charges including international drug trafficking, forgery, money laundering, and abuse of power, SNRT News reported.

The Public Prosecutor at the Court of Appeals in Casablanca decided last night to prosecute Naciri and Biioui, along with others implicated in the case, for their alleged involvement in an international drug trafficking network, the creation and use of forged documents, money laundering activities, and abuses of their positions of power.

In addition to the aforementioned charges, Naciri, who is also a parliamentary deputy affiliated with the Party of Authenticity and Modernity (PAM), is also accused of misappropriation of property in Casablanca.

According to official sources cited by Le360, he has allegedly unlawfully seized properties believed to belong to a notorious drug lord known as “the Malian.”

Around 25 individuals appeared yesterday before the judge for their involvement in the case, including Naciri and Biioui. All of the 25 individuals are currently detained at the Oukacha Prison in Casablanca.

This scandal has sent shockwaves through the political and sports communities, as both Naciri and Biioui are prominent figures in their respective domains.

Authorities have not disclosed further details about the ongoing investigation, but the case has already sparked intense public interest.

The accused are set to face thorough legal scrutiny as they prepare to present their defense before the court in the coming proceedings.
