Rabat – Israeli occupation forces have killed dozens of civilians in ground and air assaults which targeted several areas in central and southern Gaza.
Over 20 civilians were massacred in airstrikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Israeli warplanes also carried out a series of airstrikes on the Maghazi camp, killing over 14 civilians.
Heavy Israeli weaponry was also used to bomb the Zaafaran mosque in the Maghazi camp, while soldiers with machine guns targeted civilian homes across the central area of Gaza.
A drone also targeted a house near the Al Shuhada Mosque in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Israeli occupation forces also killed dozens of civilians in Rafah.
Since October 7, the Israeli aggression has murdered nearly 22,000 civilians in Palestine, mostly women and children. Thousands are still missing where others remain under the rubble.
Despite escalating uproar against the ongoing war, Israeli occupation forces are seeking to expand operations across Gaza, especially the southern region.
The occupation forces announced the news in a post on X, formerly Twitter, where they said that they are “expanding the operation in the Khan Younis area.”
Israeli forces are also continuing their arbitrary raids and detention campaigns in the occupied West Bank, with Wafa reporting that they detailed at least 14 civilians, including a child.
