Rabat – The ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will witness one of the many collisions the tournament has produced thus far, with the defending champions Senegal locking horns with rivals Cameroon.

As a great deal of spectators are expected to attend  to cheer on their teams, the Charles Konan Banny Stadium of Yamoussoukro is set to host the “fiery clash.”

Remote watchers can catch this highly-anticipated game on Sky Sports and beinSports USA, which will kick off at 6:00 p.m. Moroccan Time.

The two African titans have regularly showcased spectacular performances throughout esteemed football events like the African Cup. The Teranga Lions’ (Senegal) and the Indomitable Lions’ (Cameroon) matches have always been marked by fervor and passion.

Unsurprisingly, Senegal entered the competition with a large 3-0 victory over Gambia as they intend to add a second trophy to their cabinet.

The five-time champions and second most successful African team, Cameroon, had a somewhat disappointing start when Guinea held them to a 1-1 draw.

Setting as an objective the qualification for the knock-out stage, the Senegalese coach Aliou Cisse is relying on his team’s optimistic attitude to keep them on the same track of success, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) reported on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Cameroon is hoping to win its first match in the tournament to avenge their poor start, the same source explained.
