Rabat – The third edition of Rabat Networking Days (RND), a Morocco World News (MWN) initiative seeking to boost youth integration and empowerment, kicked off today – bringing together professionals active in several industries with dozens of students from the Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI).
More than 50 students are engaging in the 3rd edition of the two-day RND event, which is covering rounds of visits to various institutions, both in public and private sectors, to explore professional experience and the organizations’ work and mission.
The event seeks to assist students in connecting with professionals, preparing them for the job market while providing them a glimpse of what the future holds.
As part of today’s program, the students visited the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, connecting with experts and delving into its projects and role in Morocco.

Speaking on the sidelines of the students’ visit, project coordinator at the Fouad Qamouta foundation expressed the organization’s delight in hosting the students from– with the meeting serving as a platform to open dialogue and an opportunity to discuss the organization’s mission and goals.
“This was an opportunity for students to discover our world,” he told MWN, describing the meeting today as interactive as it displayed students’ eagerness to learn more about the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Souad Essemyhi, a student at Al Akhawayn University, expressed her satisfaction with the visit to the organization, emphasizing that the event helped her explore the foundation’s goals and projects.
“They are contributing in a really good manner to develop youth potential and that’s by introducing some programs that are very interesting for them,” she told MWN, noting that the foundation also focuses on women empowerment and their inclusion in policy making and politics.
RND’s 3rd edition will see students visiting other institutions, including Morocco’s Parliament, Ministry of Youth, Ministry of Digital Transition, as well as Germany’s International Development Cooperation Agency (GiZ) in Morocco.
Next, the event will allow students to engage in discussions with diplomats at the Canadian embassy in Rabat.

Rabat Networking Days’ goal is to highlight the opportunities available for students, and encourage them to explore the real time job market and professional careers.
The Rabat Networking Days initiative was launched on December 1-2 last year, with the participation of around 34 students.
In the second edition, students’ demand for a similar edition grew, leading to a second edition that took place January 12-13, with the participation of 45 students.
Now, more than 50 students are participating in the third edition, stressing the high demand from students for similar RND initiatives.
