Marrakech – Helmed by British tycoon Richard Branson, Virgin Limited Edition will debut six new riads within Marrakech’s esteemed Kasbah Tamadot hotel, nestled against the Atlas Mountains.

The six new spacious riads, each with three bedrooms accommodating up to 10 guests, offer a luxurious retreat in Marrakech, the website Maghreb Intelligence reported on Tuesday.

Every room features its own private bathroom, lounge area, and terrace, the report noted, adding that guests will find a breathtaking tented suite comprising two interconnected tents, complete with a hot tub atop the expansive rooftop terrace.

Each Riad also boasts its own private swimming pool and spacious terrace, ensuring an unforgettable stay for guests.

Imbued with the essence of traditional Moroccan aesthetics, each Riad will boast uniquely decorated interiors adorned with handcrafted furniture crafted by skilled artisans from the local Berber community.

These artisans are supported by the charitable arm of Kasbah Tamadot, the Eve Branson Foundation.

A brand-new restaurant and lounge, Asayss, is set to open its doors in July, helmed by the longstanding and award-winning Executive Chef of Kasbah Tamadot, Yassine Khalal.

Catering to hotel guests and regional visitors alike, Asayss will tantalize palates with a fusion of Moroccan and international cuisines.

The menu will celebrate the freshest ingredients and local produce, the majority sourced from the hotel’s expansive garden.

An evening tasting menu will also be available, showcasing the culinary excellence inspired by the hotel’s abundant harvest.

Richard Branson’s deep affection for Morocco is widely recognized, reinforcing his dedication to crafting unparalleled experiences in the North African country.

During one of his famed ballooning expeditions, Sir Richard Branson acquired the award-winning Kasbah Tamadot, a gem nestled amid the stunning landscape of Marrakech.

In 2019, Travel + Leisure Magazine crowned Kasbah Tamadot as the premier resort hotel in North Africa and the Middle East, a testament to its unmatched excellence.
