Join on Telegram Marrakech – Earlier this month, the 9th edition of the Stockholm International Fashion Fair (STOIFF) captivated audiences at the renowned Royal Armoury Museum, nestled within Stockholm’s Royal Palace.

The event emphasized inclusion and sustainable fashion practices heavily, captivating guests with an amazing blend of global style and cultural reverence.
According to the event’s official press release, the runway showcased a diverse array of renowned designers and brands, including Thalia by Göran Alfredsson, Camilla with Love, and the dynamic Parisian-African fusion of Moon Fashion, as stated by the press release.
Additionally, the runway showcased the iconic styles of Roberto Cavalli, Philosophi di Lorenzo, and the remarkable collection of Moroccan-Swedish brand Taragalte Stockholm.

Taking center stage was Taragalte Stockholm, helmed by Imane Belmkaddem, who wears the dual hats of STOIFF organizer and the brand’s artistic director.
Partnering with Moroccan artist Fatima El Hajjaji, Taragalte Stockholm unveiled two breathtaking collections that served as a tribute to the rich culture of Morocco.

The inaugural collection, “Ode aux Oudayas,” paid homage to the mythical cultural legacy of Rabat, a UNESCO-recognized treasure.
The second collection, which included Arabic calligraphy, zellige patterns, and exquisite flower crowns to represent femininity and elegance, honored Moroccan and African women across the world.
This touching tribute resonated deeply as the event took place in the immediate aftermath of International Women’s Day, adding an extra layer of emotion to the occasion.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, such as Margareta van den Bosch, Chief Designer of H&M, alongside ambassadors from a plethora of countries including Morocco, Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia, Thailand, Norway, Cuba, and Sri Lanka.
As the 9th Stockholm International Fashion Fair concluded, anticipation grew for the upcoming 10th Edition scheduled for later this year in September.
