Rabat – The Israeli Occupation Forces’ (IOF) war on civilians in Gaza continues, killing at least 33,729 since October 7.
More than 76,371 people have been injured during the ongoing aggression, and the death toll is not only set to rise but is likely much higher.
The Gaza Health Ministry has made a statement in which it stressed that an estimated 8,000 bodies are buried in bombed-out buildings.
In the past 24 hours, Israeli forces killed 43 Palestinians and injured 62.
Despite the world’s outrage, extremist officials in Israel continue to call for further escalation.
In a recent statement, Israeli far-right minister Bezalel Smotrich has called for “full control over Gaza.”
“As I warned, giving up on Israel’s red lines and chasing after Hamas for a deal only makes the chance of bringing everyone home further away. It’s time to learn lessons, change direction, and restore full Israeli control all over the Gaza Strip,” he said.
The fragile situation comes amid a serious escalation in the Middle East due to Israeli and Iranian war threats.
On Saturday, Iran launched aerial attacks against Israel through drone strikes. Israel has reported that Iran launched 300 drone attacks, the majority of which were intercepted.
Today, the Israeli war cabinet is expected to meet to discuss a response to Iran’s attack.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi also said in a statement today that the Iranian attack “was a punishment” of the aggressor.
He further condemned the UN Security Council’s failure to address Israel’s aggression towards Palestinians, suggesting that Iran needs support and global recognition for its act against Israel.
