Bosch Unveils Eco-Friendly HQ in Casablanca, Combining Tradition with Tech

Rabat – German industrial giant Bosch has inaugurated its new North African headquarters in Casablanca, a striking structure that seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with traditional Moroccan architecture.

This eco-friendly building, representing a €15 million investment, reflects Bosch’s dedication to both sustainable development and its expanding presence in Africa.

The new headquarters centralizes Bosch’s core Moroccan operations under one roof, creating a workspace for roughly 190 employees across various business divisions.

The design prioritizes environmental consciousness, featuring elements like compressed earth blocks and rammed earth construction alongside a rooftop adorned with photovoltaic panels.

According to the company, this focus on sustainability aligns with Morocco’s growing emphasis on green initiatives and positions Bosch as a leader in eco-friendly business practices within the region.

“Morocco’s economic stability has been instrumental in fostering our growth across Africa,” Christian Fischer, Vice Chairman of the Bosch Group Board of Management, said at the inauguration ceremony. “We are grateful for the support of the government and the Moroccan people, and we value our dedicated employees and local partners.”

Bosch has been a fixture in Morocco since 1958, generating nearly €100 million in revenue in 2023.

The company operates in four key sectors within the country: mobility, industrial technology, consumer goods, and energy and building technology. Bosch’s new headquarters solidifies its commitment to the region and its potential.

“This building represents more than just construction; it embodies our dedication to our employees, the environment, and the future of Casablanca,” said Mehdi El Boury, Bosch Group Representative in Morocco. “We are excited to embark on this new chapter, contributing to a smarter and more sustainable future.”

Beyond aesthetics, the headquarters boasts intelligent features like automatic lighting and an intelligent air conditioning system, creating a comfortable and technologically advanced work environment.

This fusion of tradition and innovation reflects Bosch’s long-term vision for Morocco, where the company aims to play a leading role in driving sustainable economic growth.
