Marrakech – Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), in collaboration with the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), has organized the 14th edition of the Arbois Round Tables, which commenced today and will span until tomorrow.
This joint effort highlights the crucial role of soil health in the planet’s sustainability and resilience, as is stated in a press release shared with Morocco World News.
Under the theme “Soils: A Hope for the World,” this edition emphasizes the invaluable importance of soil health in our global ecosystems.

In the event’s press release, Mr. Hicham El Habti, President of UM6P, gave his remarks on the initiative. He said that the event will be “an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the interplay between soils and global environmental systems, as well as to collectively contemplate crucial initiatives for ecological balance, human well-being, and the survival of the planet.”
