Rabat – Raja Casablanca clinched their 13th Botola title in the 2023-2024 season without a single defeat after a decisive 3-0 victory against Mouloudia Oujda on Friday.
The Greens delivered a masterclass performance against their opponents at the Honneur Stadium in Oujda. Dominating from the start, defender Abdellah Khafifi opened the scoring in the 34th minute, followed by Algerian striker Yousri Bouzok converting a penalty just before halftime to give Raja a solid lead.
In the second half, Raja Casablanca continued their pursuit of victory under the guidance of German coach Josef Zinnbauer. Bouzok scored another penalty in the 64th minute, sealing Raja’s commanding 3-0 victory.
Raja Casablanca has ended the season undefeated, marking a significant achievement with 21 wins and 9 draws. AS FAR, their closest rivals, stumbled in the 29th round against Moghreb de Tétouan, securing second place.
The city of Casablanca erupted in celebration as Raja fans took to the streets to celebrate their team’s victory and undefeated season with cheers, flags, and fireworks.
With today’s dominant display, Raja Casablanca made history by becoming the only Moroccan team to finish the season without a single defeat. They concluded the season with the strongest defense in the league, conceding only 15 goals, while scoring 52.
This achievement also places Raja’s coach Zinnbauer in the ranks of world-renowned managers who have won titles with their teams without suffering any defeats. The latest to accomplish this feat was Spanish coach Xabi Alonso with Bayer Leverkusen in March.
