Rabat – The road to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco continues this weekend as Ethiopia and Tanzania prepare for a critical Group H matchup on Saturday at 7:00 p.m Moroccan time.

The match will be live on Arryadia TNT, BeIN Sports Arabic Max 5, and BeIN Sports France, with both teams entering the fifth round of qualifiers with much at stake. Ethiopia currently sits at the bottom of the group with just two points after four matches.

Despite their struggles, the team remains mathematically in contention for a qualifying spot, making Saturday’s game a do-or-die opportunity to revive their campaign.

Tanzania, meanwhile, occupies third place in Group H with four points, trailing behind leaders Algeria and second-placed Uganda. Although their position is slightly more favorable, the Taifa Stars are far from secure.

A victory in Addis Ababa would provide crucial momentum ahead of the final group-stage matches.

The stakes are high for both sides. Ethiopia’s hopes rest on securing their first win of the qualifiers to keep their AFCON dreams alive. For Tanzania, a positive result could prove pivotal in tightening their grip on a potential qualifying position.

Group H remains fiercely competitive. With no team mathematically eliminated, every point earned in this stage could shift the dynamics dramatically.

This clash promises to be a tightly contested affair, as both teams seek to capitalize on their remaining opportunities to advance to Africa’s premier football tournament.

For fans, Saturday’s showdown offers not just a test of skill but also the resilience and determination that define AFCON qualifiers.

With the final whistle likely to echo across the group standings, all eyes will be on Addis Ababa to see who emerges stronger in this crucial battle.
