Rabat – Naoufel El Hannach has recently signed his first professional contract with Paris Saint-German (PSG) ahead of his aspirant contract’s expiration in 2026.
The club announced the signing of its first professional contracts with El Hannach and Ibrahim Mbaye, which extend until 2027, as well as the renewal of Yoram Zague’s contract until 2028.
The 18-year-old defender seems to be following the footsteps of his younger brother Younes, who signed his first professional contract with the club in 2022.
The young defender has already made significant strides in his development, earning opportunities to train with PSG’s first team and featuring in several summer friendlies.
While yet to make his official competitive debut, El Hannach has been included in match-day squads while continuing his development with the U19 team.
El Hannach’s journey with PSG began at a young age, following a path similar to his brother Younes.
The club’s decision to offer him a professional contract demonstrates their confidence in his potential and commitment to nurturing homegrown talent.
The coaching staff has kept a close eye on his progress, recognizing his growing capabilities as a defender.
The contract represents an opportunity for El Hannach to establish himself at one of Europe’s elite clubs.
A loan move might be considered in the future to gain valuable first-team experience, according to sources, but the focus now remains on El Hannach’s continued development within PSG’s system.
The signing reinforces PSG’s commitment to developing young talent through their academy, with El Hannach and Mbaye being the latest prospect to make the step up to professional status.
