The Moroccan Franchise Federation (FMF) is gearing up to host the first edition of the Morocco Franchise Expo (MFE) from February 12 to 14 at the Casablanca Exhibition Center.
With ambitious goals and a renewed vision, the Federation expects over 100 exhibitors from various nationalities and sectors, welcoming around 10.000 visitors to a 2.000m² exhibition space. The event will also feature expert-led conferences and workshops.
The inaugural MFE is set to become a key reference for the franchise sector in Africa, offering a platform for both local and international brands to expand their footprint in the Moroccan market. By providing a unique opportunity for brands seeking to establish themselves in Morocco, the MFE hopes to significantly impact both the local and regional franchise landscape.
“Franchising is a driver of job creation and regional development. This exhibition marks an important step for the empowerment of our entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Mohamed El Fane, president of the FMF. He added that “the target audience includes entrepreneurs, investors, franchisors, and potential franchisees. However, we’ve also decided to welcome visitors from universities and, eventually, secondary school students. In Western developed countries, awareness of entrepreneurship begins as early as preschool.”
Investors hail the lucrative Moroccan market
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Morocco Franchise Expo 2025 aims to attract a diverse range of investors from Morocco and abroad. The event will spotlight the lucrative market opportunities on offer in Morocco, which has become an increasingly attractive destination for investment due to its strategic location, favorable business environment, and growing consumer base.
The FMF’s decision to bring together national and international brands reflects its ambition to foster valuable networking opportunities, enabling potential investors to establish partnerships and collaborations. Additionally, the event will feature conferences led by industry experts, providing participants with insights into the latest trends, best practices, and strategies in franchising.
Following the initial management of the event, the FMF has taken charge of organizing the MFE, with a renewed vision to inject new energy into the event and position it as one of Morocco’s most important economic fixtures.
“The federation aims to position Morocco as a key regional hub for the franchise industry, leveraging the country’s central role in Africa’s economic growth. This renewed approach will enhance the event’s value for both exhibitors and attendees, ensuring the MFE becomes a pivotal meeting point for entrepreneurs and investors across Africa,” said the FMF Managing Director, visibly confident.
The official list of exhibitors and the conference schedule have not yet been released, but these details will be available soon, offering further insight into the exciting opportunities at the fair.
“With its strategic timing, expert-led programming, and invaluable networking opportunities, the Morocco Franchise Expo 2025 is set to be a game-changer for entrepreneurs and investors aiming to make their mark in the African franchise sector,” concluded El Fane.
