Morocco, under coach Nabil Baha, sits at the top of Group A with 4 points, tied with Zambia. A win against Tanzania would not only secure their place in the knockout stages but also guarantee qualification for the FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar next November.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference, Baha looked confident in his team ahead of the match. “We’ve prepared for this game the same way we’ve prepared for the others. We aim to top the group, and that’s important because we started the tournament well and drew the second match,” he said.

He also stressed the need to respect their opponents and stay focused. “If you don’t respect football, it won’t respect you. We know what to expect from Tanzania, and the players are ready for this challenge,” Bahe added.

Morocco’s players also spoke about their determination to win. Midfielder Amin Amghar reflected on the goalless draw against Zambia, where Morocco played with 10 men for much of the second half. “The key thing is we didn’t lose. We defended well, even with 10 men,” Amghar said.

Defender Zakiya El-Khafawi described the draw as a positive result under tough circumstances. “It was hard, but the most important thing is we didn’t lose. We’re still at the top of the group, and now we’ll focus on winning against Tanzania to make our fans and country proud,” he said.

Morocco will rely on home advantage and the support of their fans to secure a win. A victory would ensure the top spot in Group A and a place in the quarterfinals.

With the knockout stages in sight, Morocco hopes to build on their opening win and bounce back from the draw against Zambia.
