Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer SINOTRUK presented its SITRAK Track Edition truck at the 2025 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix, serving as an official event supporter at the Shanghai International Circuit.
The manufacturer introduced two products during the three-day event from March 21-23. One of the vehicles on display is a SITRAK tractor painted with the race theme. It is designed specifically for F1, which made its global debut at the company’s brand exhibition area, where it drew attention for its design features and technology.
The event-themed SITRAK tractors joined F1 drivers for the traditional track tour on race day, marking the first time the company’s vehicles participated in a premier motorsport parade.
“F1 is a testing ground for technological innovation, and the logistics industry also requires pushing boundaries,” a SINOTRUK representative said. “Our collaboration with F1 is rooted in its deep alignment with the spirit of F1—breaking industry boundaries with cutting-edge technology.”
SINOTRUK extended invitations to its customers to attend the Grand Prix, offering them direct exposure to the racing atmosphere and an opportunity to examine the new vehicles up close.
The company’s presence at the event demonstrated its advancement in commercial vehicle manufacturing and technological innovation. According to company officials, SINOTRUK aims to highlight the rise of the commercial vehicle industry on the global stage.
“When the race engines quiet down, SINOTRUK’s trucks will continue to power global logistics, demonstrating the strength of China’s intelligent manufacturing on the world stage,” the representative added.
The partnership between SINOTRUK and Formula 1 signals the growing recognition of Chinese manufacturing in international motorsport. The 2025 Chinese Grand Prix represents both F1’s return to Shanghai and SINOTRUK’s debut as an official supporter in elite racing events.

The statement emphasized that the brand booth at the competition “stole the spotlight,” with the company’s goal being twofold: to support the F1 Grand Prix and to embody the flagship competition’s dedication to customers who “thrive on speed and performance.”
SINOTRUK made a “powerful appearance” at the event, the company said in a statement, noting that the cross-industry collaboration reflects the strong capabilities and unwavering commitment to technological innovation, sustainable development, and high-end manufacturing.
This also reflects the presence of China’s commercial vehicles on the global stage.
SINOTRUK is also among the top 10 Chinese commercial vehicle companies by sales volume.
Chinese heavy-duty trucks and vehicles have been expanding their presence across China and far beyond.
A 2023 report from McKinsey stressed how China has been experiencing an infrastructure boom over the past decade and mushrooming demand for road transportation.
“We expect new opportunities to arise in the market,” the report said, stressing that the future of the industry belongs to stakeholders who understand the trends to customize their products and services accordingly.
