Rabat – Morocco’s Under-17 women’s team is entering the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, which will kick off today, in which the Moroccan team will face Namibia in Rabat.

The competition will begin today and continue until April 30 at the Moulay Abdellah Complex.

The match will take place today at 8 p.m. Morocco’s sports-focused channel Arriyadia will broadcast the game live.

The competition will serve as a qualifier for the first FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, which will take place in the Philippines in December this year.

The two finalists of the tournament will clinch a spot to represent Africa at the World Cup competition.

Morocco’s women’s team is in Group A along with Cameroon and Namibia, while Group B includes Angola, Egypt, Guinea.

Group C, meanwhile, includes Madagascar, Tanzania, and Senegal.

Teams finishing at the top of their group and the best second place team will qualify for the semifinals.

Along with Morocco, Angola and Guinea from Group B and Madagascar and Senegal will also play their first match today.

On April 24, Morocco will take on their second rival Cameroon at 8 p.m. while Madagascar and Tanzania from Group C will play their match at 5 p.m.

The same day will feature Angola and Egypt at 2 p.m.
