Gaza Genocide: New Report Confirms Biden’s Unwavering Support for Israel

A recent Israeli investigation reveals that the former US administration under Joe Biden never pressured Israel for a ceasefire in Gaza – laying bare Washington’s role in fueling one of the worst genocides in recent history.

Rabat – A recent Israeli investigative report has confirmed that the US administration under former President Joe Biden never exerted any meaningful pressure on Israel to implement a ceasefire in Gaza — further exposing the United States’ deep-rooted complicity in Israel’s genocidal campaign.

The report, aired by Israel’s Channel 13, featured testimony from nine senior US officials from the Biden administration, who admitted that Biden deliberately avoided pressuring the Israeli regime to halt its assault, even after the Palestinian death toll in Gaza had surpassed 30,000.

To make matters more unethical, Former Israeli ambassador to Washington Michael Herzog openly commended Biden’s inaction, describing his presidency as a divine gift to Israel. “We fought for over a year and the administration never came to us and said, ‘ceasefire now.’ It never did. And that’s not to be taken for granted,” he stated.

As the official death toll in Gaza now exceeds 50,000, the report shows that key figures from Biden’s former administration still defend the administration’s unrelenting support for Israel’s live-streamed genocide – a support that persisted even as it contributed to the Democratic Party’s electoral collapse in favor of President Donald Trump.

One of the few criticisms voiced by these officials was not about the scale of death and destruction in Palestine, but rather Israel’s failure to secure a normalization deal with Saudi Arabia — an outcome that would have required Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a ceasefire, something he has long refused and obstructed.

The report simply laid bare what many already knew: Israel’s genocide, apartheid, and colonization would collapse without the unwavering political, military, and financial backing of the US.

A historical precedent underlines this reality as in 1982, after Israel’s bombing of West Beirut killed 300 civilians, the assault stopped within 30 minutes of a phone call from then-President Ronald Reagan expressing outrage over the carnage. No such outrage has come from Biden.

In fact, Biden — a self-proclaimed Zionist — has consistently shown full support for the genocide, all while falsely claiming to pressure Israel. His decades-long record of championing Israeli apartheid includes a 1986 statement where he boasted: “There is no apology to be made. None. It is the best $3 billion investment we make.”

He went further, asserting, “Were there not an Israel, the United States of America would have to invent an Israel to protect her interests in the region.”

Even as global opinion and American public sentiment increasingly turn against Israel’s war crimes, Biden has continued to frame the mass killing of Palestinians as “self-defense,” legitimizing genocide with debunked propaganda and false narratives.

In October 2023, Biden was among the loudest voices parroting the debunked claim that Hamas had beheaded Israeli babies—despite internal warnings from his own advisors to avoid repeating unverified and inflammatory reports.

His administration’s support went far beyond rhetoric. As Israel’s atrocities intensified, US military assistance only grew. In addition to the standing $3.8 billion annual aid package through 2028, Biden pushed legislation providing at least $12.5 billion in new military support after October 2023.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels. Israel’s indiscriminate bombing campaign has killed at least 52,243 people, a figure that severely underrepresents the actual death toll, as countless bodies remain trapped under ruins or are unidentifiable.

A new report from the Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza stated that over 65% of the people killed in the strip since October 2023 are women, children and elderly people, thus refuting Israel’s claims that it only targets Hamas resistance fighters.

Many more Palestinians are expected to die of starvation as the Israeli tightened humanitarian blockade on the enclave approaches its second month. The GMO further reported today that 65,000 children are suffering from acute malnutrition. Meanwhile,  thousands of trucks remain stranded at the borders, all as the US backed siege continues to choke the life out of Gaza.
