3,000 Aid Trucks Blocked Outside Gaza as Israel Continues Bombing Palestinians

Rabat – The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is worsening every day as Israeli attacks continue and aid remains blocked at the border.

According to the United Nations, around 3,000 trucks filled with much-needed food, medicine, and survival supplies are stuck outside Gaza, unable to enter.

More than one million children are depending on this aid, and without it, the UN says Gaza is “on the verge of absolute famine.”

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has again criticized Israel for refusing to allow any food, medicine, or fuel into the war-torn Strip.

The agency said that aid organizations are ready to respond immediately if access is granted. “One million children depend on aid, and without it, their lives are in danger,” UNRWA said.

Israel’s total blockade of Gaza has now lasted over 60 days, making it the longest closure of the Strip in history. The continued restrictions and daily bombings are leaving Gaza’s population in desperate conditions.

Due to the heavy Israeli attacks, people are unable to reach the little aid that still exists in warehouses, which are located in areas under Israeli control. As a result, food is going to waste while people go hungry, according to Al Jazeera.

Airstrikes and explosions continue to hit civilian neighborhoods across Gaza. At least three people were killed in a residential area in Beit Lahiya on Monday, with the Israeli airstrike seriously injuring dozens others. The victims were taken to the nearby Indonesian Hospital for emergency care.

In another deadly attack, three farmers were killed this morning in eastern Khan Younis. Witnesses say they were heading to their farm when they were hit by a drone strike. They were trying to grow food to help ease the severe shortages in Gaza.

Hospitals are overwhelmed and running low on medical supplies. Doctors are struggling to treat the wounded, and many patients are dying from injuries. A young girl who was recently injured died today due to a lack of proper care, Al Jazeera reported.

Meanwhile, Israel is reportedly preparing to expand its attacks on Gaza. According to Israel’s Army Radio, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a meeting with top defence officials tomorrow at noon.

The Israeli PM is widely expected to approve new plans to expand his genocidal war on Gaza. According to converging reports in the Israeli press, Israel’s defence minister and military chief have already approved these plans, which aim to deepen the disaster unfolding in Gaza.
