Rabat – Fans have snapped up all tickets for Monday’s friendly between Morocco and Benin at the Fez Sports Complex, turning the upcoming match into a sold-out event.
The organizing committee confirmed the news over the weekend, pointing to a wave of enthusiasm for the national team
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) called on supporters to respect security and logistical measures set for the match.
In a brief statement on its website, the federation urged those heading to the stadium to help ensure a smooth and safe experience for all, in line with international standards.
“The organizing committee of the Morocco-Benin friendly match scheduled for June 9 at the Fez Sports Complex announces that the game will be played to a full house after all tickets have been sold,” the statement read.
“The organizing committee invites supporters attending the stadium to respect the organizational and security measures put in place to ensure the event meets international standards. The committee also urges supporters without tickets not to come to the stadium on match day.”
The fixture comes on the heels of Morocco’s 2–0 win against Tunisia last Friday, also held in Fez.
That match, which saw the Atlas Lions dominate the Carthage Eagles, offered a glimpse into the team’s current form.
These friendlies form part of a wider preparation plan aimed at strengthening the group’s unity and giving players more time on the pitch before official competitions resume.
With the crowd behind them and momentum building, the Atlas Lions return to the field on Monday looking to carry that rhythm forward.
