Bournemouth have completed the signing of Morocco international Amine Adli from Bayer Leverkusen for $32.5m.
The 25-year-old winger has agreed a five-year deal and becomes the Cherries’ seventh summer signing. He will join Andoni Iraola’s squad ahead of their Premier League match against Wolves this weekend.

Adli arrives after playing a key role in Leverkusen’s historic 2023-24 season under Xabi Alonso, where the club won both the Bundesliga and German Cup without losing a domestic match. He scored nine goals across 29 appearances in those two competitions and finished as the top scorer in the German Cup.
In total, Adli featured 143 times for Leverkusen, producing 10 goals and 12 assists. He also played in the Champions League and was part of the team that reached the Europa League final last season.
Before moving to Germany in 2021, Adli came through at Toulouse, where he won Ligue 2’s player of the season in 2020-21.

Bournemouth have invested heavily since the takeover by American owner Bill Foley, with spending now approaching $455m. This summer, they have also sold Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi for a combined $195m to Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain respectively.
Adli is primarily a left winger but can also play as a number 10 or on the right. At Bournemouth, he is expected to fit into Iraola’s 4-1-4-1 system on the left flank. With David Brooks filling in out wide against Liverpool and Luis Sinisterra sidelined through injury, there is a clear opening for the Moroccan to establish himself.
Adli often operated as a substitute at Leverkusen due to competition from Florian Wirtz and Nathan Tella, but during the title-winning campaign he benefited from extended opportunities.
At 25, he is considered to be entering his prime years. Bournemouth believe he adds experience at European level while still having room to grow.
The Cherries are close to ending their transfer activity for the window but remain in talks with Chelsea over a possible move for defender Axel Disasi.
