Israel Warns of ‘Inevitable’ Gaza City Evacuation as Trump Hosts Post-‘War’ Talks

There were no reports of Palestinians or representatives for Palestinians present as the US officials baldly discussed the enclave's future.

Hamas Says It Would Accept Foreign Forces in Gaza Under Strict Conditions

Casablanca – Israel has warned that the evacuation of Gaza City is “inevitable,” raising fears of a new offensive as part of its ongoing genocide.

The warning comes amid growing outrage over a double strike on Gaza’s Nasser Hospital that killed at least 22 people, including medics and journalists.

In Washington, US President Donald Trump presided over a policy session on Wednesday to discuss Gaza’s post-genocide future. The meeting included former British prime minister Tony Blair, Trump’s son-in-law and former Middle East adviser Jared Kushner, and several senior White House officials. Notably, there were no reports of any Palestinian or representative for Palestine present as they talked about their people’s future.

US special envoy Steve Witkoff, who previewed the talks on Fox News the day before, described the administration’s proposal as “a very comprehensive plan” for “the next day in Gaza.” He insisted the plan reflected what he described as Trump’s “humanitarian motives” and a commitment to “end” the “conflict”.

Trump, who campaigned on promises of swiftly ending the Gaza genocide, has faced mounting criticism as the atrocities drag into the seventh month of his second term. A temporary ceasefire early in his presidency collapsed in March when Israeli strikes killed around 400 Palestinians.

With images of starving families and malnourished children in Gaza drawing international condemnation, the White House has sought to highlight its alleged efforts to expand food aid and address the humanitarian crisis.

A senior official said Wednesday’s session covered a wide range of issues, including hostage negotiations, humanitarian deliveries, and post-war governance.

“President Trump has been clear that he wants the war to end, and he wants peace and prosperity for everyone in the region,” the official said.

Despite the White House’s assurances, many remain skeptical about Washington’s ability to broker a resolution, as Israel prepares for another gruesome offensive  and the humanitarian toll in Gaza continues to rise. All this comes as the US remains the main barrier to implement any punitive action against Israel for their heinous war crimes against Palestinians.
