Rabat – BEAMTEL, the Moroccan company founded by Tibari Jlil and specializing in 5G security and cybersecurity for critical infrastructures, has officially launched CyberPlatform, the first Moroccan cybersecurity platform entirely in Arabic.
CyberPlatform builds on BEAMTEL’s expertise in cybersecurity, R&D, and technical training to deliver simplified, easy-access content.
The purpose of CyberPlatform is to provide the first Moroccan cybersecurity platform entirely in Arabic, making it accessible to users from varying education levels across the country.

It aims to help users understand digital risks, adopt best practices, and strengthen the protection of their information systems. The content includes educational material, interactive awareness sessions, and practical advice.

The first step to strengthen this protection is awareness and understanding, CTO and Founder Tibari Jlil tells Morocco World News.
“Most cybersecurity content is available in English or French, which creates a digital and cultural gap. Our platform reinforces security and digital sovereignty by offering content in the official language of Morocco,” he says.
“We chose Arabic as the sole language for CyberPlatform to democratize access to knowledge, strengthen digital sovereignty with locally adapted content, and contribute to implementing Law 05-20 by promoting a culture of security nationwide.”
CyberPlatform is designed for multiple user groups. “Citizens are the first exposed to cyberattacks such as phishing, banking scams, and privacy breaches. CyberPlatform gives them the basic reflexes to protect themselves and their personal data in line with Law 09-08,” Jlil explains.
Additionally, SMEs and micro-enterprises, representing over 90% of Morocco’s economy, often lack dedicated cybersecurity resources.
“Our platform provides practical guides for these businesses and supports public administrations in protecting critical infrastructures. We also include schools and universities, because awareness must start early and be promoted by civil society,” says the founder.
Why cybersecurity matters in Morocco
According to the BEAMTEL CTO, “Cybersecurity is a nationwide issue, and Law 05-20 emphasizes the protection of the entire digital ecosystem, both public and private.”
Morocco has become a major target for cyberattacks in recent months and years. Kaspersky recently reported that the country experienced 12.6 million web threat attempts in 2024, ranking among the top three African nations for such threats.
Moroccan companies are growing increasingly worried about cyber risks. A survey by Allianz showed almost 60% of businesses now view cyberattacks as one of their top risks.
Morocco’s government has also made progress in its legal and strategic framework regarding cybersecurity. In the Global Cybersecurity Index published by the ITU, Morocco was recognized as a Tier 1 country in 2024, for its strong performance in areas such as legal measures, organizational structures, capacity building, and international cooperation.
Jlil highlights the strategic role of CyberPlatform in Morocco’s digital transformation. He explains that national efforts, guided by the Maroc Digital Strategy and Law 05-20, require a strong foundation of digital trust, including obligations for protecting Systems of Vital Importance (SIIV) and coordinated action through DGSSI.
“CyberPlatform complements public policies by simplifying DGSSI directives for non-specialists, strengthens resilience by equipping citizens, SMEs, and administrations against threats, and contributes to digital sovereignty through Arabic content designed specifically for Morocco,” he concludes.
