Rabat – Flight tracking observer (OSINT) have reported that a plane belonging to the Saudi Royal Flight, a Boeing 747-400 with registration number HZ-HM1 (flight SRA352), landed in Marrakech this weekend. This aircraft is usually linked to the travels of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS).

According to the same sources, a second plane, HZ-MF1 (SVA7242), also landed in Morocco, possibly carrying support staff or logistical equipment. Some online users have noted that the flight route appeared to avoid Algerian airspace, a detail that has fueled further speculation about the nature of the visit.

So far, neither Moroccan nor Saudi authorities have issued any official statements about the flights. The lack of confirmation suggests that this could be a private visit rather than an official one.

Morocco has long been a favorite destination for members of the Saudi royal family. Marrakech, in particular, is known for hosting private stays of high-ranking Gulf officials, who appreciate its luxury resorts and discreet atmosphere.

In addition, it is a favorite destination for A-list celebrities, including Hollywood stars and football players.

In 2017, King Salman spent several weeks in Tangier for a private stay, accompanied by members of the royal family, including MBS.

Morocco and Saudi Arabia maintain strong historical and strategic ties. Both countries share close cooperation in political, economic, and religious fields. Riyadh has supported several development projects in Morocco, including infrastructure and social programs, while Rabat has stood by Saudi Arabia on key regional issues.

In recent years, the two kingdoms have also worked together within the framework of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Their partnership extends to investments in tourism, renewable energy, and security cooperation.
