Morocco’s B team defeated Egypt 2-0 in a friendly match at the Al Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia.
Amin Zahzouh and Mahmoud Bentayg scored the goals for the Atlas Lions, as the side continued preparations for the Arab Cup, set to take place from 1 to 18 December.
The Moroccan team will play their next warm-up match against Kuwait on 14 October in Dubai, as coach Tarik Sektioui looks to build team cohesion ahead of the tournament in Qatar.
Morocco have been drawn in Group B alongside Saudi Arabia, the winner of the Oman–Somalia tie, and the qualifier from the Yemen–Comoros match.
