Rabat – Morocco’s B team defeated Kuwait 1-0 in a friendly match at the Al-Aweer Stadium in Dubai in the second friendly game after they beat Egypt 2-0.

The only goal for Morocco came from Abderrazak Hamdallah in the 45th minute, as the side continued preparations for the Arab Cup, set to take place from December 1 to 18.

Coach Tarik Sektioui started the match against Kuwait with the following lineup: Balaheddine Chhab, Marwane Saadane, Soufiane Bouftini, Mahmoud Bentayg, Karmoun, El Mahdioui, Achraf Bencharki, Walid El Karti, Oussama Tannane, Abderrazak Hamdallah, and Walid Azaro.

Sektioui used the game to test players and build team chemistry. The squad includes young talents from local clubs and players aiming to earn spots in the senior team.

Morocco showed good control and pressed well, while Kuwait struggled to create chances.

The Atlas Lions have been drawn in Group B alongside Saudi Arabia, the winner of the Oman–Somalia tie and the qualifier from the Yemen–Comoros match.

The team will keep preparing before moving to Qatar for the Arab Cup. Coach Tarik Sektioui wants the players to stay united and focused. Morocco hopes to perform well and win the tournament.

Morocco are seen as one of the top favorites to lift the trophy with Saudi Arabia.
