The result marked PAOK’s first win over a French team in the Europa League and Lille’s first home defeat in the group stages of a major European competition, ending a 14-match unbeaten run.

Elsewhere, Lyon beat Basel 2-0 to maintain three wins from three in the group stage. Corentin Tolisso scored in the third minute and Afonso Moreira added a second in stoppage time. Lyon, Midtjylland, and Braga remain unbeaten in the competition.
